Upon joining the company my first responsibility was assisting with the curation of the official Playboy licensed range. This was the companies first licensing opportunity.

The main content of the collection was LED paintings utilizing different elements of famous playboy covers from across their history.

I worked closely with the 2D designer to immerse myself in both the Locomocean brand and playboy's rich history of assets. Together we created the full range of draft products and worked with the CEO to curate a total of 13 paintings, 2 glass neon products and 3 wall LED.

Design Work

The design stages of Playboy took place over an extended period, each concept had to be approved before development into a pre-production sample, then once more for final sampling and again for final production. The following images showcase each stage of a design.

Virtual Photography

Due to the short time frame of the Playboy product production I had to create product lifestyle images to use in advertising, catalouge and website posts to help sell the product without having access to a sample for photography.
The following three images were made purely in Blender however I experimented with Unreal Engine and Midjourney.

Product Photography

Once the paintings had reached full production and were available to sell on the market a photoshoot was organized and planned by the design team to take eye-catching product imagery for the most well received products.
I took the responsibility of taking the key camera photos and editing, my personal favourite images I have attached below.
